An engineer by day, an accomplished knitter, spinner, dyer and fiber artist by night, Catherine always has some type of fiber in her hands!

Bruce Corrigan passed in July of 2009 due to complications from heart disease. In life, Bruce was a gifted knitter, scientist, and a true friend. He didn't fear difficult lace patterns or "sock-itecture". One of his many talents was his ability to share his abundant knowledge without making you feel inferior. That quality, in addition to his love of education, made Bruce an excellent instructor and designer. He was a dear friend to us at The Whole Nine Yarns and will never be forgotten. "Bruce was a stellated dodecahedron in a world populated mostly with circles and squares."

Though Caryn is most popular around TWNY for her crochet, she is an excellent knitter!
